Intereses

Utilización de herramientas de estadística computacional y modelización estocástica en el análisis y modelado de sistemas en diferentes escalas:

• Escala molecular: implementación y desarrollo de nuevas estrategias de análisis y modelado de información química para el diseño de compuestos sintéticos con actividad biológica relevante. Trabajo en colaboración con Javier Ramirez, Victoria Richmond y Pau Arroyo Mañez (UMYMFOR, Departamento de Química Orgánica, FCEyN, UBA).

• Escala poblacional: desarrollo de modelos estocásticos aplicados a la descripción de la dinámica poblacional de vectores y algunas de las enfermedades que estos propagan, de manera tal de crear herramientas de orientación, prevención y control, con aplicación en salud humana, veterinaria y agrícola. Trabajo en colaboración con H. G. Solari (IFIBA-DF, FCEyN, UBA), M. Giménez Pecci (INTA-Córdoba) y M. Natiello (Lund University, Suecia).
